Tempest Martial Arts was originally founded in Blyth back in 1996 as an old school fighting gym, then later transformed into one of the top professional Martial Arts schools in the UK. I was lucky to be brought up in this lifestyle and gained much experience and knowledge from my upbringing. I (Ricky Stafford) started training when I was 5 years old, and now with over 25 years of Martial Arts experience; myself, my wife Ashley and our fantastic team of instructors run Tempest Martial Arts.

We started this with one goal in mind: giving our students the best, most rewarding learning experience.

Tempest Martial Arts Blyth is located in the Albion Activity centre (old St Andrew's first school). Our passionate and skilled team members are here to help students not just achieve but smash their goals inside and outside the academy. We have a big love and emphasis on life skills and fitness, which is obvious by watching or taking part in any of our classes.
